Environmental Graphics

The following excerpts illustrate my expertise in crafting compelling Environmental Wayfinding packages for two prominent buildings designed by Duda|Paine Architects. Collaborating closely with the Project Architect, I immersed myself in the design intent of each project, capturing its essence to guide my creative process.

For the first building, a captivating lighting fixture emerged as a prominent design element. Drawing inspiration from its abstract form, I integrated its visual motif into the background details of the signs. Moreover, in the parking garage, I seized the opportunity to further the use of the theme by adding color and creating memorable moments on each floor, aiding users in recollecting their parking locations.

The second building presented a unique challenge as its interiors were shaped by the client's inspiration boards, setting the tone for the building signage. Furthermore, considering the interconnected parking facility with an adjacent mixed-use and condo building, it became imperative to establish a consistent mounting precedent within the garage.

Both packages demanded a meticulous evaluation of traffic flow, ensuring optimal signage placement throughout the buildings. Additionally, I developed comprehensive schedules for the sign fabricators, defined the precise language for the signs, and collaborated with contractors to ensure accurate installation and positioning.

Through a thoughtful blend of creativity and functionality, these Environmental Wayfinding packages seamlessly guide users, elevating their experience within the built environment.
